Walkthrough Metal Detector

Overhead Control Unit

The LCD Display, alarm lights, LED bar graphs and control touchpads plus all wiring, connections and electronics are integrated into a single lockable overhead compartment which eliminates exposure of wires and external control box for ease of use.

Microprocessor Controlled

State of the art microprocessors ensure maximum sensitivity and flexible programming to ensure trouble free operation.

Detection Field

The Metal Detector has a unique coil design offering a multidimensional detection field with total uniformity both horizontally and vertically. This design, plus a choice of three levels of ankle level boost, eliminates traditional hot spots and weak signals. Target detection is precise regardless of its location in the archway ensuring nothing metal will get through.

Audible and Visual Alarms

Audible alarm and red LED Alarm Lights indicate metal has been detected. The Red LED alarms light appears even when the audible alarm has been turned OFF. Green READY LIGHT indicates the unit has full power and is ready for operation to enable efficient throughput.

 

Hands Free Metal Detectors

The Securitygear Hands Free units are supplied in either Mitt or Glove format and are ideal for hands free applications.

The Mitt has become the serious professionals choice of personnel pat down frisker. The operator can detect the standard weapons (small knives, guns etc) and yet have the extra sensitivity to frisk for tiny metal objects as small as a book staple – or even smaller! The mitt is ergonomic and comfortable enough to be worn continuously throughout a shift. Due to the unit’s hands free operation and covert (silent vibrating alarm) abilities it makes screening simpler, faster, more efficient and above all safer. With the special flexible search head, the operator can bend their hand or clench a fist comfortably while using this device, while the hands and gingers are completely free to do other tasks simultaneously.

 
     

The Gloves - The operator’s hands are completely free enabling the ability to carry out additional tasks without hindrance from holding additional equipment. A silent Vibrating Alarm Indicator enabling operator to have totally covert operation with “ATP” enabling mass proportional discrimination to target size (large target – long alarm; small target – short alarm) and exact pinpoint accuracy to the location of the target. Made with Kavla the gloves are slash and fire resistant and can be used outdoors. Fully automatic there is no adjustment required. The operator slips the hand inside the glove, switches it on and it is ready to use. The equipment is safe for use on anyone including people with medical implants, small children and for the detection of ingested metal objects. PHF 1 can be worn as a pair of active gloves enabling the operator the power of processing speed of two metal detectors that are able to detect at the palm or the back of the hand simultaneously with a detector glove in each hand.
